James Castro has been a licensed counselor and therapist since 1999, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. He obtained his Master's degree in this field from St. Mary's University, and is widely recognized as a leading expert in his profession. Known for his empathetic counseling style, James takes his clients past the obvious ‘positive self talk’ and leads them to a place of ‘knowing’ they will overcome their challenges.

James works with a wide range of clients, including adolescents, adults, couples, and families, and his experience spans a variety of issues. From minor personal problems to severe mental health concerns, James has helped clients navigate addictions, criminal justice issues, psychiatric hospitalizations, abandonment, abuse, and loss.
Above all, James is committed to helping his clients achieve personal growth, self-discovery, and new opportunities.
Fee Structure
We offer free initial consultations.
COUNSELING:
Fees for counseling sessions vary depending on individual or couple/family distinctions, with emergency sessions and telephone consultations available at additional costs.
RELATIONAL SENIOR SUPPORT:
We offer 3 membership levels based on the number of encounters per week and per month.

Clients are responsible for paying fees at the time of service, regardless of insurance policies, and are expected to give at least 24 hours' notice for appointment cancellations. Short notice cancellations or no-shows are subject to a $75 fee. There is also a $35 fee for returned checks.

Professional services such as consulting and records preparation are available at $40 per 15 minutes, with legal-related work requiring a $500 retainer.

Clients are responsible for paying fees at the time of service, regardless of insurance policies. Payment can be made by cash, personal checks, or debit/credit cards. Please note, all fees are subject to change and will be made known prior to payment deadlines.
